Saved by the Internet

We just booked our first travel for a country that speaks English. We will be going to Dublin, from December 6-9 and are extremely excited! If anyone will be in Ireland over that time, let's meet up and have a pint!*

The fact that we are going to Dublin is great news in itself... but we were saved by an Internet security feature on Ryanair's website. Amanda had started to book our flight online, when we decided to do our International Contracts homework (imagine that), instead of finalizing the booking. When we finished our homework, we discussed the trip one more time, and decided it would be worth the 220-Euro round-trip fare. She still had the Internet booking page up, so she clicked on the "purchase tickets" button. Because the page had been sitting open for a long period of time, it had expired, so Amanda had to reenter our flight request. When she reentered the information, the flight had gone from 220 Euros to... 40! I would like to thank the person who created this security feature on shopping websites.**

*I have been told several times by my father-in-law: They never made just one pint of Guinness. I will put this theory to the test in Dublin. Stay tuned...

**This was probably Al Gore.

wow, you guys saved about $800 by doing your homework! Sweet!

Have fun--you'll love Dublin, but I would also recommend a train trip to Galway. Very cool city!

Seriously, this was our public service announcement of the vacation. Do your homework, and it'll be cheaper to drink beers later.

Remember that, up there in VT.

Miss you guys! See you soon.
