After our fun night at the Irish pub, we were not up for cooking dinner (plus, it was already midnight, so it was a bad time to start). We ordered delivery pizza from Telepizza. It took Steve some careful discussions with the lady on the phone, but we eventually ordered our pizza. About 30 minutes later, a hot, delicious, formaggio pizza arrived. No sauce, topped with several types of cheese. It was delicious! Steve didn't think it was shockingly different from Pizza Hut or Domino's, but I thought it was much better.
Spain doesn't seem that big on take-out or delivery places, and sometimes you just need take-out. So we're keeping our eyes open for other options, but so far, Telepizza is a pretty decent option.

HI guys! :) So exciting about Vandy, right?
So I have been meaning to tell you this - you MUST try jamón ibérico de bellota. It is extremely hard to find in the US as it JUST became legal this year AND it's crazy expensive - like $90/pound - it is made from free range pigs who feed on mostly acorns (bellota). Apparently in Spain, it is also called Jamón Iberico de Montanera. It is very different than plain jamón ibérico.
Plus I found this interesting fact, "Bellota jamones are prized both for their smooth texture and rich savory taste. A good ibérico ham has regular flecks of intramuscular fat. Because of the pig's diet of acorns, much of the jamón's fat is oleic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid that has been shown to lower LDL cholesterol and raise HDL cholesterol."
So it's GOOD for you too! ;)
